The Tennessee Elks Association (TEA) Community Outreach Grants are $1,000 awards and are available to each Lodge in the State. The Community Outreach Grant offers each Lodge an excellent opportunity to support a charitable, Elks-led community project.

Community Outreach Grant Projects must meet the following criteria:
Please Note: Community Outreach Grants MAY NOT be used to fund scholarships, Hoop Shoot events, youth awards nights, poster and/or essay contests, or fundraisers. Although these are worthwhile activities, the purpose of this grant is to help Lodges EXPAND their charitable outreach and to fund projects that will inform and inspire members of your community to join us in an organization that does great things.

Grant Requirements
Membership Grant Projects must meet the following criteria:
1. MEMBERSHIP ORIENTED: The project must be focused on gaining quality members in your lodge.
2. ELKS-LED: Elks must be actively involved in the hands-on project in your community focused on quality membership gain.
3. COMMUNITY PROJECT: This must be an activity or event(s) in your community to gain quality members. Funds may be split for multiple activities/events; however, they may not be used for a donation of supplies or funds.
Please Note: Membership Grants MAY NOT be used to fund scholarships, Hoop Shoot events, youth awards nights, poster and/or essay contests, or fundraisers. Although these are worthwhile activities, the purpose of this grant is to help Lodges INCREASE quality membership in their lodges.
Membership Grant Timeline
1. APPLICATIONS: Accepted annually between April 1st and October 31st; there will be no extensions or exceptions to this deadline.
2. GRANT AWARD: Awarded grant funds must be used by March 31st.
3. FINAL REPORTS: Submitted by March 31st (refer to website for more information regarding the Final Report).
